Giving Back
At Comfy Air, caring for our community isn’t just something we do—it’s who we are. From day one, our company has been built on the idea that true comfort extends beyond the walls of a home. It’s about supporting the people, pets, and places that make the New Braunfels and New Braunfels areas such special communities to live in. We believe good business means giving back, lending a hand where it’s needed most, and doing our part to make life a little better for our neighbors.doors in New Braunfels, we’ve built our business around a simple promise: treat every customer like a neighbor and every home like our own. For us, that means doing the job right, standing by our work, and never forgetting that comfort starts with people, not products.
Rooted in Community, Driven by Heart
Our team lives and works right here in Central Texas. These are our neighborhoods, our schools, our parks—and our responsibility. That’s why community involvement has always been a natural extension of our work. Whether we’re volunteering, supporting local organizations, or lending our expertise to community programs, we take pride in being an active, reliable presence.
We understand that strong communities are built by people who care. For us, giving back isn’t a checkbox—it’s a reflection of our values: compassion, respect, and service. It’s about showing up, listening, and doing what’s right, even when no one’s watching.
Supporting Wimberley Adoption Group (WAG)
Anyone who knows Comfy Air knows we have a soft spot for four-legged friends. Our beloved mascot, Comfy, was adopted from a local rescue, and his story continues to inspire how we give back. That’s why we’re proud to sponsor the Wimberley Adoption Group (WAG) —a local nonprofit dedicated to rescuing, rehabilitating, and rehoming dogs in need.
We believe every animal deserves a safe, loving home, and WAG’s mission aligns perfectly with our own. Through donations, sponsorships, and hands-on support, we’re helping provide food, shelter, medical care, and second chances to dogs who need them most. Every wagging tail reminds us that comfort comes in many forms—and sometimes, it has paws.
Looking Ahead: Partnering with Canine Classmates
Our love for dogs doesn’t stop at rescue work. We’re currently planning to get involved with Canine Classmates, a wonderful program right here in New Braunfels that pairs therapy dogs with children to support reading development, confidence, and emotional well-being.
The idea behind Canine Classmates is simple but powerful: kids read aloud to trained therapy dogs in a calm, judgment-free environment, helping them improve literacy skills while building trust and self-esteem. As animal lovers and community advocates, we’re eager to play a role in expanding this program’s impact.
Our hope is to one day help bring therapy dogs—possibly even our own Comfy!—into local schools, creating moments of comfort, learning, and connection. Because when children thrive, so does the entire community.
Leadership with Purpose
Comfy Air’s community commitment extends beyond sponsorships and donations. It’s also reflected in how we lead. Our co-owner, Eddie, proudly serves on the San Marcos Chamber of Commerce Board, helping guide local businesses and strengthen the economic health of our region.
Through this role, Eddie works alongside other local leaders to advocate for small business growth, workforce development, and community initiatives that keep San Marcos vibrant and connected. His involvement underscores what we’ve always believed: that leadership means service—and that a healthy local economy helps every family and neighbor thrive.
More Than a Business: A Neighbor You Can Rely On
We’ve always said that Comfy Air is about people first, systems second. That philosophy doesn’t just shape how we serve customers—it guides how we show up for our community. Whether it’s sponsoring local events, supporting fundraisers, or lending a hand during tough times, we approach every opportunity to give back with the same care and integrity that define our service.
Over the years, we’ve seen firsthand how small acts of kindness can create lasting impact. A donated air conditioner can keep an elderly neighbor safe during a Texas heat wave. A sponsorship can help a local shelter find homes for dozens of pets. A few hours of volunteering can brighten a child’s day. These moments remind us why we do what we do—and why giving back will always be part of our story.
A Culture of Caring
Giving back isn’t a side project at Comfy Air—it’s part of our culture. Our entire team is encouraged to participate in local volunteer opportunities and causes that matter to them personally. Whether it’s animal welfare, education, or community health, we support each other in making a difference both inside and outside of work.
That spirit of compassion and teamwork shows up in everything we do. When our technicians visit a home, they bring not just tools and training, but a mindset of service. When our office team answers the phone, they do it with patience and warmth. And when we gather as a company, we celebrate the relationships we’ve built—with each other, our customers, and the community that’s supported us for years.
Building Comfort That Lasts
We believe comfort isn’t measured only by air temperature—it’s measured by connection, kindness, and care. By investing in the well-being of our neighbors, animals, and local institutions, we’re investing in the long-term health and happiness of our community.
As we continue to grow, our promise remains simple: to keep showing up, giving back, and leading with heart. Because at Comfy Air, being a good neighbor is more than good business—it’s the foundation of who we are.
Whether we’re keeping your home cozy or helping a rescue dog find its forever family, our mission is the same—to make life more comfortable, one small act of care at a time.
